Exploration of time and movement
Zig Zag: video work created by Amit Goffer as a reaction to perceptions of space and the reality in which we find ourselves. Through observations of changes in light, movement, natural color shifts, and specifically contrasting lighting that created different dimensions and perceptions of time within the work for this video. It aims to connect architecture, objects, emotions, and feelings about the time in which we find ourselves, which feels like an illusion. The music for the new video work was composed by London-based music composer Ronen Kozokaro: "The sound score for Zig Zag seeks to echo the uncertainty of the times we inhabit. Inspired by Goffer’s fluid and evocative camera movements, I composed a slowly unfolding sonic landscape - where contrasting melodies, rhythms, and harmonies coexist in tension and harmony. Blending synthesized textures with field recordings, the score explores the fragile, often conflicting relationships we hold within ourselves and with the world around us”- Ronen Kozokaro |
